Question 1
Soit xx, yy et zz trois fonctions réelles, de la variable temporelle tt. C'est trois fonctions réelles vérifient le système, noté SS, d'équations différentielles du premier ordre suivant :
S:{x′=5 x−y+9 zy′=3 x+4 yz′=x+y+zS : \left\lbrace \begin{array}{ccrcrcr} x' & = & 5 \, x & - & y & + & 9 \, z \\ y' & = & 3 \, x & + & 4 \, y & & \\ z' & = & x & + & y & + & z \\ \end{array} \right.

Donner une écriture matricielle à ce système SS en faisant apparaître une matrice 3×33 \times 3 que nous noterons MM. Cette matrice est exprimée dans une base BB.

Correction
Le système différentiel SS s'écrit comme :
(x′y′z′)=(5−19340111)(xyz)\left( \begin{array}{c} x' \\ y' \\ z' \\ \end{array} \right) = \begin{pmatrix} 5 & -1 & 9 \\ 3 & 4 & 0 \\ 1 & 1 & 1 \\ \end{pmatrix} \left( \begin{array}{c} x \\ y \\ z \\ \end{array} \right)
On adopte alors la notation suivante :
XB=(xyz)     ⟹     ddtXB=(x′y′z′)X_B = \left( \begin{array}{c} x \\ y \\ z \\ \end{array} \right) \,\,\,\,\, \Longrightarrow \,\,\,\,\, \dfrac{d}{dt} X_B = \left( \begin{array}{c} x' \\ y' \\ z' \\ \end{array} \right)
Dans ce cas, le système SS prend la forme suivante :
ddtXB=M XB\dfrac{d}{dt} X_B = M \, X_B
Avec :
M=(5−19340111)M = \begin{pmatrix} 5 & -1 & 9 \\ 3 & 4 & 0 \\ 1 & 1 & 1 \\ \end{pmatrix}
Question 2

Déterminer le polynôme caractéristique PMP_{M} associé à cette matrice MM.

Correction
Soit λ\lambda un réel. Le polynôme caractéristique PMP_M de MM est donné par :
PM(λ)=∣5−λ−1934−λ0111−λ∣P_M(\lambda) = \left|\begin{array}{ccc} 5 - \lambda & -1 & 9 \\ 3 & 4 - \lambda & 0 \\ 1 & 1 & 1 - \lambda \\ \end{array} \right|
Ce qui nous donne :
PM(λ)=(−1)3 (λ−1) (λ−2) (λ−7)P_M(\lambda) = (-1)^3 \, (\lambda -1) \, (\lambda - 2) \, (\lambda - 7)
Question 3

En déduire les valeurs propres de MM.

Correction
Ainsi le spectre de MM est donné par :
SpR(M)={ 1 ; 2 ; 7 }\mathrm{Sp}_\mathbb{R}(M) = \left\lbrace \, 1 \,;\, 2 \,;\, 7 \, \right\rbrace
Question 4

Justifier que MM est diagonalisable.

Correction
On constate que le spectre est constitué de valeurs propres non dégénérée, donc toutes différentes. Ainsi la matrice MM est diagonalisable (réductible).
Question 5

Déterminer les vecteurs propres associés.

Correction
Les valeurs propres associées à MM sont :
∙  λ=1\bullet \,\, \lambda = 1 de multiplicité (ou dégénérescence) 11 ;
∙∙  λ=2\bullet \bullet \,\, \lambda = 2 de multiplicité (ou dégénérescence) 11 ;
∙∙∙  λ=7\bullet \bullet \bullet \,\, \lambda = 7 de multiplicité (ou dégénérescence) 11.
Notons par :
∙  E1\bullet \,\, E_1 le sous espace propre associé à la valeur propre 11 et dim⁡E1=1\dim E_1 = 1 ;
∙∙  E2\bullet \bullet \,\, E_2 le sous espace propre associé à la valeur propre 22 et dim⁡E2=1\dim E_2 = 1 ;
∙∙∙  E7\bullet \bullet \bullet \,\, E_7 le sous espace propre associé à la valeur propre 77 et dim⁡E7=1\dim E_7 = 1.
Soit (a ; b ; c)∈R3(a\,;\,b\,;\,c) \in \mathbb{R}^3. On note VV le vecteur suivant :
V=(abc)V = \left( \begin{array}{c} a \\ b \\ c \\ \end{array} \right)

∙  \bullet \,\, Le vecteur VV appartient au sous espace E1E_1 si :
(A−1I3)V=O3(A-1\mathbb{I}_3)V = \mathbb{O}_3
Soit encore :
(5−1−1934−10111−1)(abc)=(000)\begin{pmatrix} 5 - 1 & -1 & 9 \\ 3 & 4 - 1 & 0 \\ 1 & 1 & 1 - 1 \\ \end{pmatrix} \left( \begin{array}{c} a \\ b \\ c \\ \end{array} \right) = \left( \begin{array}{c} 0 \\ 0 \\ 0 \\ \end{array} \right)
D'où :
(4−19330110)(abc)=(000)\begin{pmatrix} 4 & -1 & 9 \\ 3 & 3 & 0 \\ 1 & 1 & 0 \\ \end{pmatrix} \left( \begin{array}{c} a \\ b \\ c \\ \end{array} \right) = \left( \begin{array}{c} 0 \\ 0 \\ 0 \\ \end{array} \right)
Ce qui nous donne :
{4 a−b+9 c=03 a+3 b=0a+b=0\left\lbrace \begin{array}{ccccccc} 4\,a & - & b & + & 9\,c & = & 0 \\ & & & & & & \\ 3 \,a & + & 3\,b & & & = & 0 \\ & & & & & & \\ a & + & b & & & = & 0 \\ \end{array} \right.
Soit a=−ba = - b, d'où :
4 a−(−a)+9 c=0    ⟺    4 a+a+9 c=0    ⟺    5 a+9 c=04\,a - (-a) + 9\,c = 0 \,\,\,\, \Longleftrightarrow \,\,\,\, 4\,a + a + 9 \,c = 0 \,\,\,\, \Longleftrightarrow \,\,\,\, 5\,a + 9\,c = 0
Donc :
b=−a     et     c=−59ab = - a \,\,\,\,\, \mathrm{et} \,\,\,\,\, c = - \dfrac{5}{9} a
On peut donc écrire :
V=(a−a−59a)=−a9(−995)V = \left( \begin{array}{c} a \\ -a \\ - \dfrac{5}{9} a \\ \end{array} \right) = -\dfrac{a}{9} \left( \begin{array}{c} -9 \\ 9 \\ 5 \\ \end{array} \right)
En posant k=−a9∈Rk = -\dfrac{a}{9} \in \mathbb{R}, on trouve que :
V=k(−995)     ⟹     E1=Vect{(−995)}V = k \left( \begin{array}{c} -9 \\ 9 \\ 5 \\ \end{array} \right) \,\,\,\,\, \Longrightarrow \,\,\,\,\, E_1 = \mathrm{Vect}\left\lbrace \left( \begin{array}{c} -9 \\ 9 \\ 5 \\ \end{array} \right) \right\rbrace
Donc un vecteur propre possible est :
V1=(−995)V_1 = \left( \begin{array}{c} -9 \\ 9 \\ 5 \\ \end{array} \right)
∙∙  \bullet \bullet \,\, Le vecteur VV appartient au sous espace E2E_2 si :
(A−2I3)V=O3(A-2\mathbb{I}_3)V = \mathbb{O}_3
Soit encore :
(5−2−1934−20111−2)(abc)=(000)\begin{pmatrix} 5 - 2 & -1 & 9 \\ 3 & 4 - 2 & 0 \\ 1 & 1 & 1 - 2 \\ \end{pmatrix} \left( \begin{array}{c} a \\ b \\ c \\ \end{array} \right) = \left( \begin{array}{c} 0 \\ 0 \\ 0 \\ \end{array} \right)
D'où :
(3−1932011−1)(<br/>abc)=(000)\begin{pmatrix} 3 & -1 & 9 \\ 3 & 2 & 0 \\ 1 & 1 & -1 \\ \end{pmatrix} \left( \begin{array}{c}<br /> a \\ b \\ c \\ \end{array} \right) = \left( \begin{array}{c} 0 \\ 0 \\ 0 \\ \end{array} \right)
Ce qui nous donne :
{3 a−b+9 c=03 a+2 b=0a+b−c=0\left\lbrace \begin{array}{ccccccc} 3\,a & - & b & + & 9\,c & = & 0 \\ & & & & & & \\ 3\,a & + & 2\,b & & & = & 0 \\ & & & & & & \\ a & + & b & - & c & = & 0 \\ \end{array} \right.
Soit b=−32ab = - \dfrac{3}{2} a, d'où :
a+(−32a)−c=0    ⟺    a−32a=c    ⟺    −12a=ca + \left( - \dfrac{3}{2} a \right) - c = 0 \,\,\,\, \Longleftrightarrow \,\,\,\, a - \dfrac{3}{2} a = c \,\,\,\, \Longleftrightarrow \,\,\,\, -\dfrac{1}{2} a = c
Donc :
b=−32a     et     c=−12ab = - \dfrac{3}{2} a \,\,\,\,\, \mathrm{et} \,\,\,\,\, c = -\dfrac{1}{2} a
On peut donc écrire :
V=(a−32a−12a)=−12a(−231)V = \left(\begin{array}{c} a \\ \\ - \dfrac{3}{2} a \\ \\ -\dfrac{1}{2} a \\ \end{array} \right) = - \dfrac{1}{2} a \left( \begin{array}{c} -2 \\ 3 \\ 1 \\ \end{array} \right)
En posant k=−19a∈Rk = -\dfrac{1}{9} a \in \mathbb{R}, on trouve que :
V=k(−231)     ⟹     E2=Vect{(−231)}V = k \left( \begin{array}{c} -2 \\ 3 \\ 1 \\ \end{array} \right) \,\,\,\,\, \Longrightarrow \,\,\,\,\, E_2 = \mathrm{Vect}\left\lbrace \left( \begin{array}{c} -2 \\ 3 \\ 1 \\ \end{array} \right) \right\rbrace
Donc un vecteur propre possible est :
V2=(−231)V_2 = \left( \begin{array}{c} -2 \\ 3 \\ 1 \\ \end{array} \right)
∙∙∙  \bullet \bullet \bullet \,\, Le vecteur VV appartient au sous espace E7E_7 si :
(A−7I3)V=O3(A-7\mathbb{I}_3)V = \mathbb{O}_3
Soit encore :
(5−7−1934−70111−7)(<br/>abc)=(000<br/>)\begin{pmatrix} 5 - 7 & -1 & 9 \\ 3 & 4 - 7 & 0 \\ 1 & 1 & 1 - 7 \\ \end{pmatrix} \left( \begin{array}{c}<br /> a \\ b \\ c \\ \end{array} \right) = \left( \begin{array}{c} 0 \\ 0 \\ 0 \\ \end{array}<br />\right)
D'où :
(−2−193−3011−6)(abc)=(000)\begin{pmatrix} -2 & -1 & 9 \\ 3 & -3 & 0 \\ 1 & 1 & -6 \\ \end{pmatrix} \left( \begin{array}{c} a \\ b \\ c \\ \end{array} \right) = \left( \begin{array}{c} 0 \\ 0 \\ 0 \\ \end{array} \right)
Ce qui nous donne :
{−2 a−b+9 c=03 a−3 b=0a+b−6 c=0\left\lbrace \begin{array}{ccccccc} -2\,a & - & b & + & 9\,c & = & 0 \\ & & & & & & \\ 3\,a & - & 3\,b & & & = & 0 \\ & & & & & & \\ a & + & b & - & 6\,c & = & 0 \\ \end{array} \right.
Soit b=ab = a, d'où :
a+a−6 c=0    ⟺    2a−6 c=0    ⟺    a−3 c=0    ⟺    c=13aa + a - 6\,c = 0 \,\,\,\, \Longleftrightarrow \,\,\,\, 2a - 6\,c = 0 \,\,\,\, \Longleftrightarrow \,\,\,\, a - 3\,c = 0 \,\,\,\, \Longleftrightarrow \,\,\,\, c = \dfrac{1}{3} a
Donc :
b=a     et     c=13ab = a \,\,\,\,\, \mathrm{et} \,\,\,\,\, c = \dfrac{1}{3} a
On peut donc écrire :
V=(aa13a)=13a(331)V = \left( \begin{array}{c} a \\ \\ a \\ \\ \dfrac{1}{3} a \\ \end{array} \right) = \dfrac{1}{3} a \left( \begin{array}{c} 3 \\ 3 \\ 1 \\ \end{array} \right)
En posant k=13a∈Rk = \dfrac{1}{3} a \in \mathbb{R}, on trouve que :
V=k(331)     ⟹     E7=Vect{(331)}V = k \left( \begin{array}{c} 3 \\ 3 \\ 1 \\ \end{array} \right) \,\,\,\,\, \Longrightarrow \,\,\,\,\, E_7 = \mathrm{Vect}\left\lbrace \left( \begin{array}{c} 3 \\ 3 \\ 1 \\ \end{array} \right) \right\rbrace
Donc un vecteur propre possible est :
V7=(331)V_7 = \left( \begin{array}{c} 3 \\ 3 \\ 1 \\ \end{array} \right)
Question 6

Déterminer une base BpB_p de vecteurs propres.

Correction
On a :
det⁡{V1 ; V2 ; V7}=det⁡(−9−23933511)=−30≠0\det \left\lbrace V_1 \,;\,V_2 \,;\, V_7 \right\rbrace = \det \begin{pmatrix} -9 & -2 & 3 \\ 9 & 3 & 3 \\ 5 & 1 & 1 \\ \end{pmatrix} = -30 \neq 0
Donc l'ensemble des trois vecteurs {V1 ; V2 ; V7}\left\lbrace V_1 \,;\,V_2 \,;\, V_7 \right\rbrace forme une  base  propre  Bp{\bf{une \,\, base \,\, propre \,\,}} B_p.
Ainsi, la  matrice  {\color{red}{\bf{la \,\, matrice \,\,}}} M{\color{red}{M}}   est  diagonalisable{\color{red}{\bf{\,\, est \,\, diagonalisable}}}.
Question 7

Donner l'expression de la matrice de passage PB⟶BpP_{B \longrightarrow B_p}.

Correction
Dans la base propre, la matrice DD est diagonale et est (par exemple) :
D=(100020007)D = \begin{pmatrix} 1 & 0 & 0 \\ 0 & 2 & 0 \\ 0 & 0 & 7 \\ \end{pmatrix}
La matrice de passage associée est alors :
PB⟶Bp=(−9−23933511)P_{B \longrightarrow B_p} = \begin{pmatrix} -9 & -2 & 3 \\ 9 & 3 & 3 \\ 5 & 1 & 1 \\ \end{pmatrix}
Question 8

En déduire les solutions générales xx, yy et zz recherchées.

Correction
Dans la base propre, le système SS s'écrit :
ddtXBp=D XBp\dfrac{d}{dt}X_{B_p} = D \, X_{B_p}
Soit :
(xBp′yBp′zBp′)=(100020007) (xBpyBpzBp)\left( \begin{array}{c} x'_{B_p} \\ y'_{B_p} \\ z'_{B_p} \\ \end{array} \right) = \begin{pmatrix} 1 & 0 & 0 \\ 0 & 2 & 0 \\ 0 & 0 & 7 \\ \end{pmatrix} \, \left( \begin{array}{c} x_{B_p} \\ y_{B_p} \\ z_{B_p} \\ \end{array} \right)
Ce qui nous donne :
{xBp′=1 xBpyBp′=2 yBpzBp′=7 zBp\left\lbrace \begin{array}{rcl} x'_{B_p} & = & 1 \, x_{B_p} \\ y'_{B_p} & = & 2 \, y_{B_p} \\ z'_{B_p} & = & 7 \, z_{B_p} \\ \end{array} \right.
Dont les solutions sont :
{xBp=C1 e1 tyBp=C2 e2 tzBp=C7 e7 t     avec :(C1 ; C2 ; C7)∈R3\left\lbrace \begin{array}{rcl} x_{B_p} & = & C_1 \, e^{1 \, t} \\ y_{B_p} & = & C_2 \, e^{2 \, t} \\ z_{B_p} & = & C_7 \, e^{7 \, t} \\ \end{array} \right. \,\,\,\,\, \mathrm{avec} \, : \left( C_1 \,;\, C_2 \,;\, C_7 \right) \in \mathbb{R}^3
Ce qui nous permet d'écrire que :
XBp=(C1 etC2 e2 tC7 e7 t)X_{B_p} = \left( \begin{array}{c} C_1 \, e^{t} \\ C_2 \, e^{2 \, t} \\ C_7 \, e^{7 \, t} \\ \end{array} \right)
Il nous faut maintenant transporter{\color{red}{\bf{transporter}}} cette solution dans la base BB de départ. Pour cela, on utilise la relation suivante :
XB=PB⟶Bp XBp{\color{red}{ X_B = P_{B \longrightarrow B_p} \, X_{B_p} }}
Ce qui nous donne encore :
(x(t)y(t)z(t))=(−9−23933511)(C1 etC2 e2 tC7 e7 t)\left( \begin{array}{c} x(t) \\ y(t) \\ z(t) \\ \end{array} \right) = \begin{pmatrix} -9 & -2 & 3 \\ 9 & 3 & 3 \\ 5 & 1 & 1 \\ \end{pmatrix} \left( \begin{array}{c} C_1 \, e^{t} \\ C_2 \, e^{2 \, t} \\ C_7 \, e^{7 \, t} \\ \end{array} \right)
D'où :
(x(t)y(t)z(t))=(−9 C1 et−2 C2 e2 t+3 C7 e7 t9 C1 et+3 C2 e2 t+3 C7 e7 t5 C1 et+1 C2 e2 t+1 C7 e7 t)\left( \begin{array}{c} x(t) \\ y(t) \\ z(t) \\ \end{array} \right) = \left( \begin{array}{c} -9 \, C_1 \, e^{t} - 2 \, C_2 \, e^{2 \, t} + 3 \, C_7 \, e^{7 \, t} \\ 9 \, C_1 \, e^{t} + 3 \, C_2 \, e^{2 \, t} + 3 \, C_7 \, e^{7 \, t} \\ 5 \, C_1 \, e^{t} + 1 \, C_2 \, e^{2 \, t} + 1 \, C_7 \, e^{7 \, t} \\ \end{array} \right)
Finalement :
{x(t)=−9 C1 et−2 C2 e2 t+3 C7 e7 ty(t)=9 C1 et+3 C2 e2 t+3 C7 e7 tz(t)=5 C1 et+1 C2 e2 t+1 C7 e7 t\left\lbrace \begin{array}{rcr} x(t) & = & -9 \, C_1 \, e^{t} - 2 \, C_2 \, e^{2 \, t} + 3 \, C_7 \, e^{7 \, t} \\ y(t) & = & 9 \, C_1 \, e^{t} + 3 \, C_2 \, e^{2 \, t} + 3 \, C_7 \, e^{7 \, t} \\ z(t) & = & 5 \, C_1 \, e^{t} + 1 \, C_2 \, e^{2 \, t} + 1 \, C_7 \, e^{7 \, t} \\ \end{array} \right.
Question 9

A l'instant initial t=0t = 0, on a les trois conditions initiales suivantes :
{x(t=0)=1y(t=0)=2z(t=0)=0\left\lbrace \begin{array}{rcl} x(t=0) & = & 1 \\ y(t=0) & = & 2 \\ z(t=0) & = & 0 \\ \end{array} \right.
Déterminer les expressions de xx, yy et zz qui satisfont à ces conditions initiales.

Correction
Les conditions initiales sont :
{x(t=0)=1y(t=0)=2z(t=0)=0\left\lbrace \begin{array}{rcl} x(t=0) & = & 1 \\ y(t=0) & = & 2 \\ z(t=0) & = & 0 \\ \end{array} \right.
Soit encore, avec e0=1e^0 = 1 :
{−9 C1−2 C2+3 C7=19 C1+3 C2+3 C7=25 C1+1 C2+1 C7=0\left\lbrace \begin{array}{rcl} -9 \, C_1 - 2 \, C_2 + 3 \, C_7 & = & 1 \\ 9 \, C_1 + 3 \, C_2 + 3 \, C_7 & = & 2 \\ 5 \, C_1 + 1 \, C_2 + 1 \, C_7 & = & 0 \\ \end{array} \right.
Sous forme matricielle, ce système s'écrit encore :
(−9−23933511)(C1C2C7)=(120)\begin{pmatrix} -9 & -2 & 3 \\ 9 & 3 & 3 \\ 5 & 1 & 1 \\ \end{pmatrix} \left( \begin{array}{c} C_1 \\ C_2 \\ C_7 \\ \end{array} \right) = \left( \begin{array}{c} 1 \\ 2 \\ 0 \\ \end{array} \right)
Or, on a :
∣−9−23933511∣=−30\left\vert \begin{array}{ccc} -9 & -2 & 3 \\ 9 & 3 & 3 \\ 5 & 1 & 1 \\ \end{array} \right\vert = -30
Ce qui implique, par la méthode de CramerCramer :
x(t)=∣1−23233011∣−30                    y(t)=∣−913923501∣−30                    z(t)=∣−9−21932510∣−30x(t) = \dfrac{ \left\vert \begin{array}{ccc} 1 & -2 & 3 \\ 2 & 3 & 3 \\ 0 & 1 & 1 \\ \end{array} \right\vert}{-30} \,\,\,\,\, \,\,\,\,\, \,\,\,\,\, \,\,\,\,\, y(t) = \dfrac{\left\vert \begin{array}{ccc} -9 & 1 & 3 \\ 9 & 2 & 3 \\ 5 & 0 & 1 \\ \end{array} \right\vert }{-30} \,\,\,\,\, \,\,\,\,\, \,\,\,\,\, \,\,\,\,\, z(t) = \dfrac{\left\vert \begin{array}{ccc} -9 & -2 & 1 \\ 9 & 3 & 2 \\ 5 & 1 & 0 \\ \end{array} \right\vert}{-30}
Ainsi, on obtient :
C1=10−30=−13                    C2=−42−30=75                    C7=−8−30=415C_1 = \dfrac{10}{-30} = - \dfrac{1}{3} \,\,\,\,\, \,\,\,\,\, \,\,\,\,\, \,\,\,\,\, C_2 = \dfrac{-42}{-30} = \dfrac{7}{5} \,\,\,\,\, \,\,\,\,\, \,\,\,\,\, \,\,\,\,\, C_7 = \dfrac{-8}{-30} = \dfrac{4}{15}
On peut donc écrire que :
{x(t)=−9×(−13)×et−2 ×75× e2 t+3×415×e7 ty(t)=9×(−13)×et+3×75×e2 t+3×415×e7 tz(t)=5×(−13)×et+1×75×e2 t+1×415×e7 t\left\lbrace \begin{array}{rcl} x(t) & = & -9 \times \left(- \dfrac{1}{3} \right) \times e^{t} - 2 \, \times \dfrac{7}{5} \times \, e^{2 \, t} + 3 \times \dfrac{4}{15} \times e^{7 \, t} \\ & & \\ y(t) & = & 9 \times \left(- \dfrac{1}{3} \right) \times e^{t} + 3 \times \dfrac{7}{5} \times e^{2 \, t} + 3 \times \dfrac{4}{15} \times e^{7 \, t} \\ & & \\ z(t) & = & 5 \times \left(- \dfrac{1}{3} \right) \times e^{t} + 1 \times \dfrac{7}{5} \times e^{2 \, t} + 1 \times \dfrac{4}{15} \times e^{7 \, t} \\ \end{array} \right.
Finalement, après calculs et simplifications, on trouve les solutions du système différentiel SS qui satisfont aux conditions initiales données, à savoir :
{x(t)=3 e t−145 e 2 t+45 e 7 ty(t)=−3 e t+215 e 2 t+45 e 7 tz(t)=−53e t+75 e 2 t+415 e 7 t{\color{red}{ \boxed{\left\lbrace \begin{array}{rcl} x(t) & = & 3 \, e^{\,t} - \dfrac{14}{5} \, e^{\,2 \, t} + \dfrac{4}{5} \, e^{\,7 \, t} \\ & & \\ y(t) & = & -3 \, e^{\,t} + \dfrac{21}{5} \, e^{\,2 \, t} + \dfrac{4}{5} \, e^{\,7 \, t} \\ & & \\ z(t) & = & - \dfrac{5}{3} e^{\,t} + \dfrac{7}{5} \, e^{\,2 \, t} + \dfrac{4}{15} \, e^{\,7 \, t} \\ \end{array} \right. }}}
