Soit xx un nombre réel. On pose f:x⟼arctan⁡(1−x1+x)f : x \longmapsto \arctan \left( \sqrt{\dfrac{1-x}{1+x}} \right).
Question 1

Déterminer l'ensemble de définition DfD_f.

Correction
La fonction arc tangente est définie sur R\mathbb{R}.
Cependant, la présence de la racine carrée impose d'avoir :
1−x1+x⩾0   ⟹   x∈]−1 ; 1 ]\dfrac{1-x}{1+x} \geqslant 0 \,\,\, \Longrightarrow \,\,\, x \in ] -1 \,;\ 1 \,]
Donc :
Df=]−1 ; 1 ]D_f = ] -1 \,;\ 1 \,]
Question 2

On a :
∀x∈]−1 ; 1 [,  f′(x)=(arctan⁡(1−x1+x))′\forall x \in ] -1 \,;\ 1 \,[, \,\, f'(x) = \left( \arctan \left( \sqrt{\dfrac{1-x}{1+x}} \right) \right)'
Soit :
∀x∈]−1 ; 1 [,  f′(x)=(1−x1+x)′×11+(1−x1+x)2\forall x \in ] -1 \,;\ 1 \,[, \,\, f'(x) = \left( \sqrt{\dfrac{1-x}{1+x}} \right)' \times \dfrac{1}{1 + \left( \sqrt{\dfrac{1-x}{1+x}} \right)^2}
Soit encore :
∀x∈]−1 ; 1 [,  f′(x)=(1−x1+x)′21−x1+x×11+1−x1+x\forall x \in ] -1 \,;\ 1 \,[, \,\, f'(x) = \dfrac{\left( \dfrac{1-x}{1+x} \right)'}{2\sqrt{\dfrac{1-x}{1+x}}} \times \dfrac{1}{1 + \dfrac{1-x}{1+x}}
De fait :
∀x∈]−1 ; 1 [,  f′(x)=(1−x)′(1+x)−(1−x)(1+x)′(1+x)221−x1+x×11+x1+x+1−x1+x\forall x \in ] -1 \,;\ 1 \,[, \,\, f'(x) = \dfrac{\dfrac{(1-x)'(1+x) - (1-x)(1+x)'}{(1+x)^2} }{2\sqrt{\dfrac{1-x}{1+x}}} \times \dfrac{1}{\dfrac{1+x}{1+x} + \dfrac{1-x}{1+x}}
Ainsi :
∀x∈]−1 ; 1 [,  f′(x)=−1(1+x)−(1−x)1(1+x)221−x1+x×11+x+1−x1+x\forall x \in ] -1 \,;\ 1 \,[, \,\, f'(x) = \dfrac{\dfrac{-1(1+x) - (1-x)1}{(1+x)^2} }{2\sqrt{\dfrac{1-x}{1+x}}} \times \dfrac{1}{\dfrac{1+x+1-x}{1+x} }
On obtient donc :
∀x∈]−1 ; 1 [,  f′(x)=−1−x−1+x2(1+x)21−x1+x×1+x2\forall x \in ] -1 \,;\ 1 \,[, \,\, f'(x) = \dfrac{-1-x-1+x }{2(1+x)^2\sqrt{\dfrac{1-x}{1+x}}} \times \dfrac{1+x}{2}
D'où :
∀x∈]−1 ; 1 [,  f′(x)=−22(1+x)1−x1+x×12\forall x \in ] -1 \,;\ 1 \,[, \,\, f'(x) = \dfrac{-2 }{2(1+x)\sqrt{\dfrac{1-x}{1+x}}} \times \dfrac{1}{2}
Ce qui nous donne :
∀x∈]−1 ; 1 [,  f′(x)=−12(1+x)1−x1+x\forall x \in ] -1 \,;\ 1 \,[, \,\, f'(x) = -\dfrac{1}{2(1+x)\sqrt{\dfrac{1-x}{1+x}}}
Ceci s'écrit également sous la forme suivante :
∀x∈]−1 ; 1 [,  f′(x)=−121+x1+x1−x1+x\forall x \in ] -1 \,;\ 1 \,[, \,\, f'(x) = -\dfrac{1}{2\sqrt{1+x}\sqrt{1+x}\dfrac{\sqrt{1-x}}{\sqrt{1+x}}}
En simplifiant par le terme non nul 1+x\sqrt{1+x} on trouve que :
∀x∈]−1 ; 1 [,  f′(x)=−121+x1−x\forall x \in ] -1 \,;\ 1 \,[, \,\, f'(x) = -\dfrac{1}{2\sqrt{1+x}\sqrt{1-x}}
On obtient donc :
∀x∈]−1 ; 1 [,  f′(x)=−12(1+x)(1−x)\forall x \in ] -1 \,;\ 1 \,[, \,\, f'(x) = -\dfrac{1}{2\sqrt{(1+x)(1-x)}}
Ou encore :
∀x∈]−1 ; 1 [,  f′(x)=−121−x2\forall x \in ] -1 \,;\ 1 \,[, \,\, f'(x) = -\dfrac{1}{2\sqrt{1-x^2}}
Nous allons écrire ceci comme :
∀x∈]−1 ; 1 [,  f′(x)=12(−11−x2)\forall x \in ] -1 \,;\ 1 \,[, \,\, f'(x) = \dfrac{1}{2} \left( -\dfrac{1}{\sqrt{1-x^2}} \right)
Afin d'obtenir :
∀x∈]−1 ; 1 [,  f′(x)=12(arccos⁡(x))′\forall x \in ] -1 \,;\ 1 \,[, \,\, f'(x) = \dfrac{1}{2} \left( \arccos(x) \right)'
De fait, on en déduit immédiatement que :
∀x∈]−1 ; 1 ],  f(x)=12arccos⁡(x)+K    (K∈R)\forall x \in ] -1 \,;\ 1 \,], \,\, f(x) = \dfrac{1}{2}\arccos(x) + K \,\,\,\, (K \in \mathbb{R})
Ainsi :
∀x∈]−1 ; 1 ],  arctan⁡(1−x1+x)=12arccos⁡(x)+K    (K∈R)\forall x \in ] -1 \,;\ 1 \,], \,\, \arctan \left( \sqrt{\dfrac{1-x}{1+x}} \right) = \dfrac{1}{2}\arccos(x) + K \,\,\,\, (K \in \mathbb{R})
Maintenant, posons x=0∈]−1 ; 1 ]x = 0 \in ] -1 \,;\ 1 \,]. On a lors :
arctan⁡(1−01+0)=12arccos⁡(0)+K   ⟺   arctan⁡(11)=12×π2+K   ⟺   arctan⁡(1)=π4+K\arctan \left( \sqrt{\dfrac{1-0}{1+0}} \right) = \dfrac{1}{2}\arccos(0) + K \,\,\, \Longleftrightarrow \,\,\, \arctan \left( \sqrt{\dfrac{1}{1}} \right) = \dfrac{1}{2}\times\dfrac{\pi}{2} + K \,\,\, \Longleftrightarrow \,\,\, \arctan \left( 1 \right) = \dfrac{\pi}{4} + K
Ce qui nous donne :
π4=π4+K   ⟺   0=K\dfrac{\pi}{4} = \dfrac{\pi}{4} + K \,\,\, \Longleftrightarrow \,\,\, 0 = K
Finalement, on trouve que :
∀x∈]−1 ; 1 ],  arctan⁡(1−x1+x)=12arccos⁡(x)\forall x \in ] -1 \,;\ 1 \,], \,\, \arctan \left( \sqrt{\dfrac{1-x}{1+x}} \right) = \dfrac{1}{2}\arccos(x)
